SIMON DE GLANVILLE

-

I'm an Emmy winning director of photography with over 150 film & television credits. My career began in the late 1990s apprenticed to the Oscar winning founder of OSF, Peter Parks, and then mentored by David Allen at Passion Pictures. I have since photographed a wide variety of productions for television and cinema, including many landmark natural history films.

Throughout my career I have continued to shoot documentary and drama alongside natural history, and blending techniques across these genres has helped me develop an innovative visual style. I have been lead cinematographer on four major cinema productions: Day of the Camel, the feature documentary Wilding, the hugely successful IMAX film Flight of the Butterflies, and Galapagos: Nature's Wonderland; one of many projects with Sir David Attenborough.
